The safest combination there is — a white shirt goes over any wash of blue jeans.

Tap a colour dot to try your own shade, tap its hex code to copy it, or hit Random to flip through combinations quickly.

Pick who's dressing — men only, women only, a husband-and-wife pairing, or a full husband-wife-baby family match — and a dress code, and see the whole outfit rendered on a figure: shirt, pant, saree, blouse and shoes or sandals all placed exactly where they'd sit on a real person, not just floating colour chips.

Every piece has its own colour dot — tap it to try any shade you like on that exact garment, or tap its hex code underneath to copy it. Changes apply live, so you can experiment with your own colours instead of only the curated pairing.

Hit "Random combination" to flip quickly through every pairing for the current outfit type and dress code, or browse them one by one in the thumbnail row.

Frequently asked questions

Are these combinations generated automatically from colour theory?
The starting pairings are curated by hand for real-world dress codes — colour-wheel maths can find pleasing colour pairs, but it doesn't know that a fluorescent shirt suits a party but not a client meeting. You can still override any piece with your own colour using the colour picker.
Can I use my own colour instead of the suggested one?
Yes — tap the colour dot under any garment (top, bottom, or footwear) to open a colour picker and try your own shade. A "Reset to curated colours" button appears so you can undo it and go back to the original pairing.
What's the difference between the couple and family matching options?
Couple matching shows a husband-and-wife pairing, often coordinated by tone rather than an identical colour. Family matching adds a third outfit for a baby, usually in a lighter or complementary shade of the parents' colours rather than the exact same bold tone.
Can I copy the exact colour codes shown?
Yes — tap the hex code text under any garment to copy it, useful for matching fabric shopping, referencing with a tailor, or checking a colour digitally before buying.
What does the Random button do?
It jumps to a different combination within the outfit type and dress code you've selected, so you can flip through options quickly instead of scrolling the thumbnail row by hand.
Does 'party' mean the same thing as 'formal'?
No — formal covers office and business-appropriate pairings (safer, lower-contrast), while party covers festive and celebratory occasions like weddings and functions, where bolder colours like maroon, royal blue, and gold show up more often.
